He notably showed off his eye-popping abs and rock-hard physique while wearing particularly clingy (and tiny) swim trunks and sauntering through the shallow water. “Hey Life…… I simply just wanna say, THANK YOU!!” Lebron, 37, captioned the montage, alongside emojis of a regal crown and praying hands.

The clips include footage of the aquamarine beaches from an aircraft, along with a Four Seasons sign, as well as videos of LeBron wading in the crystal-clear water, riding a bike through rows of water suites, raising a glass of wine, and smiling with his family. LeBron’s video seemed to indicate he is staying at the exclusive and luxurious Four Seasons Resort Maldives at Landaa Giraavaru.

His travel companions included his gorgeous wife Savannah James, 35, DJ Bamboozle; Fara Leff of Klutch Sports, and Ernie Ramos, per TMZ. Savannah took to her own Instagram to show off a video and some snaps as well. “The Maldives owes me nothing!! A small snapshot of a trip for the books!!” she wrote, along with emojis of a tropic fish, shell, palm tree, and sun. Savannah’s montage shared similar footage of the luxury hotel’s grounds and their spectacular ride above the resort on a private plane.

The Los Angeles Lakers star and four-time MVP is currently taking some unwanted time off from basketball, as he is not heading to the playoffs — something that’s only happened to him four times over an eighteen-year span in the sport. Still, while he seems to have found a way to grin and bear it, as the post is filled with undoubtedly great memories and incomparable tropical scenery, he’d rather be on the court. “I can/will NOT miss the post season again for my career!” he tweeted on April 22. ‘This s*** HURT. LUTE UPDATES ‘GOLD MOUF’ WITH SIX NEW SONGS

Lute dropped off his debut effort Gold Mouf in October, and the Charlotte rapper recently reunited with his Dreamville collective for their D-Day mixtape on March 31, lending his lyrical talents to “Starting 5” and “Like Wine.”

To keep the momentum going, the 32-year-old rhymer dropped off the deluxe edition of his Gold Mouf tape on Thursday (April 28), which includes “Like Wine” and five other new songs.

The original 13-track project featured the previously released singles “GED (Gettin Every Dolla),” “Myself,” and “Life,” and featured guest appearances from JID, Saba, Ari Lennox, BJ the Chicago Kid, and Little Brother, among others. Lute dropped off his music video for the Cozz-assisted “Eye To Eye” on Monday (April 25), where he rapped about his struggle with anxiety within the rap game.

“I really hate this rap shit some times,” he raps, “Cause true friends are really hard to find/On a scale of one to ten, anxiety be on nine/Sorry but not sorry, I just really need some time/Some times I make plans and don’t show up ’cause I be tired.”

Lute recently spoke more about his battle with anxiety in an interview with Complex.

“The way I found out about anxiety was from an infomercial one night,” he said. “I couldn’t sleep, and I was flipping through the channels…and, you know how infomercials come through: ‘Do you have such and such? Are you feeling this way?”

He continued, “This is what I’m going through. This is what I have. Now I have a name for it. I’m glad I made that realization because now I feel like I have an upper hand on my anxiety and my depression.”

DRAKE CO-SIGNS FRENCH MONTANA & KODAK BLACK’S NEW ‘MOPSTICK’ VIDEO

The Toronto lyricist recently took to Instagram to shout out his peers French Montana and Kodak Black, who had just dropped the video for their collaborative track “Mopstick” on Tuesday (April 26), and fans were quick to note his reaction.

“Nah wtf this is ITTTTTTT,” Drake commented on the Instagram teaser French shared on his profile. The Coke Boys founder has been flooded with comments ever since, with Russ, Bandman Kevo and Antonio Brown all showering French with praise as well. The Rook-directed visual now sits at 269,0000 views and counting on YouTube.

“Mopstick” is the latest track from French’s 2021 album They Got Amnesia to be turned into a music video. The 22-track record features appearances from Doja Cat, Rick Ross, John Legend, Pop Smoke, Lil Durk, Saweetie, Fivio Foreign, Fabolous, Ty Dolla $ign, Moneybagg Yo and others. The project debuted at No. 59 on the Billboard 200 and moved around 14,000 copies.

French’s “Mopstick” visual also comes after he dropped a new track titled “Big Comfy,” which was a jingle made for Canada Dry Ginger Ale.

“Big Comfy” dropped on April 7 and was scored by Harry Fraud. Meant as a playful shout-out to staying home from the club, Montana explains in his lyrics that it’s the preferable way to spend an evening only if you have your Canada Dry Ginger Ale.

“I’m drinkin’ my Canada Dry, I’m cozy with shorty I ain’t comin’ outside,” French raps. “She said, ‘What’s the craziest thing you’ve done in your life?’ I told her, ‘Watch a whole series in one night.’”

PUSHA T GOES FULL SUPERVILLAIN IN ‘CALL MY BLUFF’ VISUAL

After dropping his highly-anticipated Daytona follow-up, It’s Almost Dry, on Friday (April 22), Pusha T has returned with a new unsettling visual accompaniment to his Pharrell-produced track “Call My Bluff.”

Push announced the imminent arrival of the video via Twitter, where he shared a baleful teaser for the visual. The new video really captures Pusha’s latest ethos of being a supervillain, as he at one point enjoys a classy meal in a plastic-covered room while his goonies decapitate a hostage next door. Pharrell spoke to Complex recently and said that in order to help Push tap into this nefarious energy, he played Joker on mute in the background during their studio sessions.

“For me, I’ve known who Arthur Fleck was all my life,” Pharrell says, describing how Push embodies Joaquin Pheonix’s character. “It’s him. That’s who the fuck he is. He’s really that. And he hadn’t seen Joker. That’s the funny thing. I had to get him to watch it. He hadn’t even seen [the movie], and when I got him to watch it I was like, ‘Bro, you know this is you, right?’ And at first, he thought I was kidding. I had to tell him I wasn’t kidding. He’s watching the shit that he does, and he’s like, ‘Oh, this is me.’”

Pusha T’s It’s Almost Dry, which features appearances from Kanye West, Kid Cudi, Pharrell, JAY-Z, Lil Uzi Vert, Don Toliver and more, will likely snag the No. 1 spot on the Billboard 200 this week. According to HitsDailyDouble, the project is currently on pace to sell between 50,00 to 55,000 units its first week, which would comfortably put it into the No.1 position.

In an interview with Rolling Stone earlier in April, the Clipse rapper called It’s Almost Dry the “album of the muthafuckin’ year” and said the project title also hints at his belief that he’s curating fine pieces of art.

“I’m always creating a masterpiece and in the creation of that in terms of a painting, you end up telling people while they waiting on it, ‘It’s almost dry,’ because they’re always asking, ‘When will it be done?’” he explained. “And you have to wait on masterpieces.”

BOBBY SHMURDA QUITS SEX FOR 6 MONTHS AFTER ALLUDING TO PENIS INJURY

Bobby Shmurda has been making up for lost time in the bedroom since being released from prison in February 2021, but an incident over the weekend has made him think twice about his sex life — at least in the near future.

The Brooklyn rapper took to Twitter on Sunday (April 24) to reveal he’s quitting sex for six months after suggesting a girl’s tongue piercing led to an injury to his penis.

“Had the worst day ever,” he wrote to his followers. “not having sex for 6 months. New rule I am no longer talking to girls with [tongue] [rings].”

During an interview with Million Dollaz Worth of Game in January, Bobby Shmurda claimed he slept with 10 girls the day he was released from prison.

“I fucked like 10 bitches that day,” he said. “I fucked six bitches on the jet, I ate like two bitches. Yo, six years bro, six years? Ain’t nobody doing half a decade and not coming home not eating some pussy. I’ma eat some pussy.”

Shmurda previously gave sex tips to his male followers after hearing girls complain about other guys’ moves in the bedroom.

“I’m not trying to be an asshole about it, but I’m saying, you n-ggas need some WD-40 or some shit bro,” he said in a video. “Like, I don’t know, you muthafuckas too stiff. The girls are complaining, bro. You gotta whine out, you gotta hit all angles. She ain’t never going back home trust me.”

But his sex life hasn’t all been good. In November, he admitted he needed therapy for his sex addiction.

Aside from sexual intercourse, Bobby Shmurda is set to release his new album They Don’t Know on Friday (April 29) after recently parting ways with Epic Records.

Ottawa nears deadline to call inquiry into Emergencies Act use over convoy protests

The federal government has until the end of the Monday to call an inquiry into its use of the Emergencies Act during the blockades at Canadian border crossings and in Ottawa earlier this year.

Millions of dollars in trade was halted for days at several border crossings and the streets of downtown Ottawa were flooded with demonstrators as part of a national convoy of big-rigs and trucks protesting COVID-19 restrictions.

In response, the Liberals invoked the Emergencies Act on Feb. 15, granting extraordinary powers to police to clear people out and to banks to freeze the accounts of those involved. It’s the first time the law has been used.

The temporary powers meant protesters and their supporters could face fines up to $5,000 or five years in prison during the emergency declaration.

At the time, Attorney General David Lametti said the government couldn’t “allow our democratic system to be hijacked by shows of force.”

While many people involved in the blockades said they were occupying Ottawa city streets and blocking border crossings to demand an end to all COVID-19 restrictions, some, including many of the most vocal organizers, said they wanted the Liberal government overthrown.

Throughout most of February, Parliament Hill was packed with people and trucks carrying signs and flags adorned with expletives directed at Prime Minister Justin Trudeau.

The protests had a major impact on Ottawa residents. Officials described a state of “lawlessness” setting in around the area as bylaws went unenforced by police for three weeks and the sound of air horns droned on at all hours of the day and night.

The Emergencies Act requires the government to call an inquiry into the use of the legislation within 60 days of revoking the declaration.

That will examine the circumstances that led to the emergency being declared and the measures taken to deal with it.

Several provincial premiers have spoken out against what they characterized as a serious overreach of power by the federal government, arguing police already had all the authority they needed to clear out protesters.

The inquiry isn’t the only post-mortem review of how governments and law enforcement handled the protests.

Parliament established an all-party committee to look at the way the powers were used, as required by the legislation, and the city of Ottawa’s auditor general launched a review of the local response.

The lessons learned are unlikely to be detailed and delivered before another convoy, this one on motorcycles, is due to arrive in Ottawa next weekend.
