Could there be a duet on the horizon? Country music icon Dolly Parton, 75, signaled her appreciation for Lil Nas X, on Sept. 29, sharing how much she loved the rapper’s recent cover of her hit “Jolene.” The Tennessee native took to her Instagram page to gush about the performance and sent the “Industry Baby” singer some love.

‘I was so excited when someone told me that Lil Nas X had done my song ‘Jolene,’” wrote Dolly in her post. “I had to find it and listen to it immediately…and it’s really, really good. Of course, I love him anyway. I was surprised and I’m honored and flattered. I hope he does good for both of us. Thank you @lilnasx[.]”

Chatting with SiriusXM’s Andy Cohen Live on Sept. 28, Lil Nas X talked about how he and his team decided on “Jolene” for their BBC Radio performance, though it wasn’t the song they were originally planning.

“We originally were going to do a Nirvana song and then like, we were kind of goofing around and you know, like doing ‘Jolene,’ it was like, wait a minute. What if we actually did ‘Jolene?’” Lil Nas X told host Andy Cohen. He went on, “And I feel like, you know, the context to it, like completely changes as you just said, I was like, ‘Oh, that’d be really cool.’ So I went for it. Hey, [I] have like my history with country. So I was like, ah, this is perfect.”

This also isn’t the first time Dolly has spoken about her country singer contemporary. Back in 2019, the “9 to 5” songstress told Elle magazine that she was considered to be a part of Lil Nas X’s smash hit “Old Town Road,” but ultimately decided against it. “I had an opportunity to be part of that [song], but it had done so well with so many people,” she said. “I thought, ‘Well, I’ll wait and do something later on. No point in going down that same Old Town Road. We got other roads to travel.’”

The former reality TV star, 42, orchestrated a day of rest and relaxation with her lifestyle website Poosh via facials, sound baths, and lymphatic drainage massages. In new photos shared on Instagram on September 29, Kourtney offered a glimpse into the intimate spa day.

Bikinis and silk robes appeared to have been the unofficial uniforms for Poolside with Poosh. In the carousel of photos shared on Wednesday, Kourtney could be seen relaxing in a black bikini and white silk robe alongside some of her guests for the event, which included model Miranda Kerr (seen in the fourth photo) and actress and TV host Adrienne Bailon.

For the event, per the Poolside with Poosh blog post, Kourtney wanted her guests to “feel like they walked into a luxurious European spa.” Upon arrival, guests were able to “set an intention for the day” and place these intentions into an “intention tree.” The post noted that all guests were tested for COVID-19 “to ensure a safe and sound day.” The blog also features photos of the activities and guests. Kourtney’s daughter Penelope, 9, was also in attendance for the day of R&R.

Kourtney has been keeping busy these last few days, attending to other commitments apart from Poosh. She and her sisters Kim and Khloé were spotted filming for their new Hulu show in Malibu on September 28. The siblings enjoyed lunch together at a restaurant while a camera crew filmed them. A title, release date, and general synopsis has not been announced for the series yet, but the project is part of the Kardashian-Jenner’s multi-year partnership with Hulu.Production on the new series comes just three months after the family’s long-running TV series Keeping Up With the Kardashians wrapped its 20th and final season in June. Kris Jenner offered this vague teaser about the new show at the Disney Upfronts in May: “In the new show, you’ll see us evolving as a family. . . The fans will love seeing us continue the journey. I can’t say much about what’s coming, but spoiler: we’re going to look fabulous and everyone’s going to watch.”

Lauryn Hill Wyclef Jean & Pras MichelReuniting As The Fugees For The FirstTime In 15 Years

Ms. Lauryn Hill, Wyclef Jean, and Pras Michel have announced a Fugees reunion tour to celebrate 25 years of their crucial 1996 album, The Score. The album — both a critical and commercial success of its time — garnered the group plenty of staying power, as fans are sure to flock to any of the 12 cities the trio has set up on their international tour. In their first shows together in 15 years, the group will travel across the United States and then London and Paris, finally ending in Nigeria and Ghana at the end of the year. They will also perform a pop-up show in New York City on Sept. 22 at The Rooftop at Pier 17.

After The Score was released in 1996, the band became widely known for such singles like “Ready or Not” and “Killing Me Softly.” Over the next decade, the group remained in each others’ orbit, despite legal troubles and solo expeditions (like Lauryn’s multiple Grammy-winning project The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill). Ultimately, however, the group went their separate ways in 2006, likely due to romantic conflicts between Lauryn and Wyclef. Pras also stated in 2007 that there was “a better chance of seeing Osama Bin Laden and [former President George W.] Bush in Starbucks having a latte, discussing foreign policies” than him working with Lauryn again. When he and Wyclef began speaking of a potential reunion, Lauryn continued to stay quiet on the matter … until now.

“The Fugees have a complex but impactful history,” Lauryn said in a press release, reported Consequence of Sound. “I decided to honor this significant project, its anniversary, and the fans who appreciated the music by creating a peaceful platform where we could unite, perform the music we loved, and set an example of reconciliation for the world.”

Wyclef added: “As I celebrate 25 years with the Fugees, my first memory was that we vowed, from the gate, we would not just do music we would be a movement. We would be a voice for the un-heard, and in these challenging times, I am grateful once again, that God has brought us together.”

Lisa Vanderpump Claims Kyle RichardsSpread Erika Jayne Rumors At AndyCohen’s Party

The Housewives drama is not confined to the Watch What Happens Live studio. Lisa Vanderpump has claimed that her former pal Kyle Richards spread stories about Erika Jayne and husband Thomas Girardi’s legal troubles. The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star, 61, sat down with DailyMailTV on Monday, Sept. 27. When asked about who initially spread the stories, Lisa reluctantly admitted that Kyle shared stories of Erika and Tom during Andy Cohen’s baby shower in 2019.

The British restauranteur was hesitant to disclose Kyle at first, but the interviewer had correctly guessed her, resulting in the confirmation. “Could it be someone that you used to be friends with, you aren’t friends with now, the swans don’t like, and maybe you kicked out of your kitchen?” DailyMailTV asked, referencing Kyle. (Lisa’s husband Ken Todd infamously kicked Kyle out of their home during last season of RHOBH.)

“Yes, it could be the person that Ken kicked out of my house,” Lisa admitted with a laugh. “It didn’t surprise me when Camille [Meyer] told me that it was Kyle that had told her the gossip about her supposed friend Erika Jayne,” Lisa said. “That’s how Kyle works.” The admission comes after Camille alluded to the same claims on Twitter on September 17.

When asked if she heard the rumblings about Erika and Tom before she joined the show, Camille tweeted in response, “Yes. One of the housewives mentioned it at Andy’s baby shower.” She did not disclose anyone’s name at the time. As for the drama, Erika filed for divorce from Tom in November 2020 after over 20 years of marriage. The former attorney, 82, has been embroiled in legal controversy.

Tom and his law firm have been accused of embezzling funds from the families of victims of a 2018 plane crash. After Erika filed for divorce, the two were hit with a lawsuit that called the divorce a “sham” in an effort to “fraudulently protect” their money from the victims’ families. Erika denied the accusations in a July episode of RHOBH.

“Divorce is very painful. And then to have it called a ‘sham’ is even more painful,” she said in the episode. “It took a lot of courage to leave, and it took two seconds for some a**hole to say it was a sham and everyone to believe it.” (When asked about when she found out about the lawsuit, Erika said, “I can’t answer that,” but later maintained she had “nothing to do with it.”)
