MASTER P’S DAUGHTER TYTYANA MILLER HAS DIED AGED 29

Master P and his household are in mourning following the loss of life of his daughter, Tytyana Miller.

The rapper, producer and label head – actual title Percy Robert Miller – shared a press release on Instagram, saying that he and his his household have been coping with “overwhelming grief” following the lack of Tytyana, who was aged 29. No reason behind loss of life has been disclosed.

“We respectfully request some privacy so that our family can grieve. We appreciate all of the prayers love and support,” Miller wrote. “Mental illness & substance abuse is a real issue that we can’t be afraid to talk about. With God, we will get through this.”

At the moment, it’s unclear if the SIXTY tour will include shows in North America, but stay tuned. The band did recently wrap up a rather extensive run of No Filter U.S. tour dates, which came after the passing of longtime drummer Charlie Watts in August of 2021.

News Kids On The Blocks NKOTB The Mixtape Tour 2022

The New Kids on the Block are hitting the road for an extensive arena tour in May 2022, and they’re bringing along Salt-N-Pepa, Rick Astley, and En Vogue.

“We had a blast out on the first MixTape Tour in 2019, and can’t wait to take it to another level with our fans on the MixTape Tour 2022,” NKOTB singer Donnie Wahlberg said in a statement. “Just like a mixtape, these shows are going to take audiences through all the emotions. To be able to have Salt-N-Pepa come back and now also have the iconic and legendary Rick Astley and En Vogue join the tour… we could not be more excited. Let’s GO!”

New Kids on the Block have been touring consistently since the original line-up reunited in 2008. Past tours have featured 98 Degrees, Boyz II Men, TLC, Nelly, Paula Abdul, Debbie Gibson, Tiffany, and Salt-N-Pepa. On their recent Mixtape tours, the special guests have come out midway through the New Kids’ show to play mini-sets of their hits rather than a traditional opening act slot.

This time around, expect to hear “Push It,” “Shoop,” “Together Forever,” “Free Your Mind,” “and “My Lovin’ (You’re Never Gonna Get It)” in addition to New Kids standards like “Hangin’ Tough,” “Step By Set,” and “The Right Stuff.” Odds are high that Salt-N-Pepa will perform “Whatta Man” with En Vogue, and don’t be surprised to see some sort of surprise “Rickroll” rendition of “Never Gonna Give You Up.” Find tickets at VividSeats.com.

DRAKE HELPED J. COLE SIGN WITH CANADIAN BASKETBALL TEAM

J. Cole’s hoop dreams are alive and well. After signing with Canadian Elite Basketball League’s Scarborough Shooting Stars last week, Complex did some digging and connected Cole’s north of the border business trip back to a birthday party hosted by Drake.

Nicholas “Niko” Carino is a close friend of Drake’s who’s a co-founder of OVO. He also happens to be a part-owner of the Shooting Stars. Cole and Carino met up at Drake’s birthday party last year and started to talk about a potential opportunity and the rest is history.

“You know, Dreamville and OVO are family,” Carino said. “Drake had a birthday party in L.A. last year. The conversation was, ‘I heard you have your team.’ It organically grew from there.”

YOUNG THUG & GUNNA INDICTED ON RACKETEERING MURDER and ARMED ROBBERY CHARGES

Young Thug and Gunna are reportedly two of 28 defendants charged in a 56-page indictment out of Fulton County, Georgia. According to WSB-TV reporter Michael Seiden, the indictment includes charges of conspiring to violate the Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations (RICO) Act, murder, armed robbery and participation in criminal street gang activity.

The news outlet obtained exclusive footage of Young Thug being taken into custody on Monday night (May 9). The indictment alleges the Young Stoner Life (YSL) rapper is facing charges of participation in street gang activity and conspiring to violate the RICO Act, while Gunna is facing one count of conspiring to violate the RICO Act as well.

Seiden reports, Young Thug is facing some very “serious allegations.” Prosecutors allege, “YSL is a criminal street gang that started in late 2012 in the Cleveland Avenue area of ATL” and is affiliated with the national Bloods gang.

The documents reportedly state Young Thug rented a 2014 Infiniti Q50 sedan from Hertz rental car company, which was later used in the commission of the murder of Donovan Thomas, Jr., a rival gang member, in January 2015. Prosecutors believe two associates of YSL, Christian Eppinger and Antonio Sumlin, worked to get permission of Young Thug to make a second attempt to murder YFN Lucci while he’s behind bars at Fulton County.

Young Thug was booked into Fulton County Jail around 10:30 p.m. local time, while Gunna has yet to be taken into custody. Thugger’s first court appearance is scheduled for Tuesday (May 10). This is a developing story.
