RARE XXXTENTACION SOUNDCLOUD ERA SONG HITS STREAMING SERVICES FOLLOWING ESTATE’S PROMISE

A hidden gem in XXXTENTACION’s discography has finally made its way onto streaming services. After making the announcement earlier this week, X fan-favorite “Vice City” is now available for streaming as of Thursday (January 27).

Named after the Grand Theft Auto series staple, a teenage XXXTENTACION crafted “Vice City” circa 2013 and the track eventually landed on his debut XXX (Unmastered) project in 2014. The Laura Mvula-sampling record is the oldest existing song left on the Florida native’s SoundCloud.

“We continue to be amazed at the love and support X’s fanbase shows on a daily basis,” X’s estate wrote while announcing the song’s arrival. “We know how much his music means to all of you and his impact continues to be as powerful as it’s ever been.”

There are also plans to unveil an XXXTENTACION documentary at some point with an update coming shortly as well.

Earlier this week, the only photograph of the “SAD!” rapper and Tyler, The Creator surfaced on social media.

The previously unreleased flick finds XXX rocking a Thrasher hoodie with the 2021 HipHopDX Rapper of the Year in deep conversation at model/actor Luka Sabbat’s “Hot Mess” exhibit in Los Angeles in October of 2017.

CHRIS BROWN SUED FOR $20M BY WOMAN CLAIMING HE DRUGGED & RAPED HER ON DIDDY’S ESTATE

MIAMI, FL – Chris Brown is no stranger to lawsuits — the veteran R&B singer has faced his fair share over the years. Now, the 32-year-old has another one to add to the list. According to TMZ, Brown is being sued by a woman who claims he sexually assaulted her on a yacht parked at Diddy’s Miami estate in December 2020.

The woman, only identified as Jane Doe, is reportedly a professional choreographer, dancer, model and musical artist. She says Brown went from being “friendly” with her to attacking her within minutes. She says it all started when Brown “grabbed the phone of a friend she was FaceTiming” and successfully persuaded her to come to Diddy’s home on Star Island.

Once she arrived, the alleged victim says Chris Brown approached her and asked if she wanted a drink, motioning her toward the kitchen area on the yacht. Brown handed her a red cup with a mixed drink and they started talking. Once he refilled her cup, she says experienced “a sudden, unexplained change in consciousness.”

The suit says she also felt “disoriented, physically unstable and started to fall in and out of sleep,” which is when she says Brown led her into a bedroom “drugged” and “half-asleep.” She alleges Brown then removed her bikini bottoms and raped her despite her resistance.

Jane Doe says Brown ejaculated inside of her, jumped up and said he was “done.” The following day, he allegedly text her to get a Plan B to prevent any unplanned pregnancies, so she did. She’s now asking for $20 million, citing “severe emotional distress.”

Doe’s attorneys, Ariel Mitchell and George Vrabeck, says Doe didn’t report the alleged sexual assault to police because she was a medical student at the time and was “embarrassed.”

In 2020, Brown avoided a sexual assault lawsuit after another Jane Doe filed for a dismissal. The alleged victim claimed she was assaulted inside Brown’s home, but no further details were provided. Just a year prior, Brown was arrested in Paris on charges of rape and narcotics charges. He ultimately sued the woman for defamation. Sources close to Brown believe he’s been a “easy target for anyone to cry wolf.”

A few days after Snoop Dogg promised Eli Manning he would gift the two-time Super Bowl champion his own Death Row Chain for his birthday, Snoop has made good on his promise.

The pioneering gangsta rapper made the promise during an appearance on the Manning’s MNF on ESPN: Peyton & Eli show on January 3, taking the brothers by surprise as he unveiled it.

“Eli, I would like to present to you this Death Row chain for being so Hip Hop and being so Hip,” Snoop said. “That’s yours, baby. When I see you, you got that. I’m going to put that around your neck. Happy 41st birthday Eli.”

Both brothers were shocked by Snoop’s generosity, but Eli Manning confirmed in a video posted to social media on Monday (January 17) the chain did, in fact, arrive in the mail.

Kanye West and The Game sampled Eazy-E’s 1988 song “Eazy-Duz-It” for their new single “Eazy” on Friday (January 14), and it’s already got the seal of approval from the N.W.A legend’s daughter. During an interview with TMZ, Ebie Wright shared her thoughts on the track that’s made headlines for a number of reasons.

“Ironically enough, my life was never easy either,” she said. “But I think it’s a great song. You know what, I’m a huge Kanye fan. I love Game. It’s an incredible record. And it was also produced by my buddy Hit-Boy, so shout out to all my guys.”

Ebie also talked about Eazy-E being linked to a song that sees Kanye dissing his ex-wife’s new partner Pete Davidson, in addition to the controversial monkey cover art.

“Honestly, the fact that they sampled ‘Eazy-Duz-It’ – my father literally represents revolutionizing everything,” she explained. “He also represents gangsta rap. What Kanye did and what he said on it, I mean, it don’t get more gangsta than that. I’m with it. I mean, you gotta think about it like, Kanye especially, he knows how to go viral. He’s also very expressive. I feel like, he can’t do no wrong. I think Eazy taught him, and Yeezy taught me.”

Kanye West’s verse finds him calling out comedian/actor Pete Davidson while referencing his new girlfriend, Uncut Gems actress Julia Fox.

“God saved me from that crash,” he raps. “Just so I can beat Pete Davidson’s ass (who?)/And my new bitch bad/I know Illuminati mad.”

The song arrived just a day before Kim Kardashian allegedly stopped Kanye from attending his daughter Chicago’s fourth birthday party, with Travis Scott and Kylie Jenner then stepping in to help.

The cover art for “Eazy” was also slammed by animal rights organization PETA for using a skinned monkey.

“The photo is reminiscent of the monkeys PETA has found, sometimes heads, sometimes hands, sometimes the whole body, in meat markets around the world,” PETA President Ingrid Newkirk said in a statement. “It makes it clear that when you remove the fur you can’t miss that there’s a person in there, that they are fellow primates, and do not belong to us to abuse for any purpose, not in laboratories, roadside zoos, movies, or meat markets.”

Anna’s tribute to Lucy featured two adorable images of the 4-year-old. The first was of Lucy rocking a princess dress with a big smile on her face at the park, while the second photo showed her playing in her room. Nicholas, meanwhile, looked so dang cute cheesing for the camera in a Mickey Mouse shirt in the first image that Anna shared of her son. Enrique and Anna are also proud parents to daughter Mary, who turns 2 next month. The paternity test results come about a month after Tristan and Maralee’s months-long affair was revealed by the Daily Mail. In the court documents, Tristan had admitted he had sex with Maralee in March 2021 while he was celebrating his 30th birthday. It later came out that their tryst had actually gone on for months before that, as well.

One of the best things about being drafted in the NBA’s second round is, there are so many people to prove wrong.

First, of course, comes the sting of sliding out of the first round, where the money is better and guaranteed and teams typically have a more obvious commitment to a player’s success. Second-rounders sometimes fare worse than guys who aren’t drafted at all, who at least can scramble with their agents to score an invitation to a camp where the fit is better.

But with the right personality, the proper edge, a second-round pick can turn his status into marvelous motivation.

Beyond proving untold numbers of scouts, coaches and executives wrong for passing them up, a player selected when NBA deputy commissioner Mark Tatum is announcing the picks – after boss Adam Silver has left the stage – can stare at all those names above his on the Draft list and formulate a challenge. Whether the higher picks know it or not.

In recent years, Gilbert Arenas (No. 31 in 2001) and Draymond Green (No. 35 in 2012) have been pretty candid about psyching themselves up when they faced teams that passed on them. On Tuesday night, it was Ayo Dosunmu’s turn. The No. 38 pick in the 2021 Draft laser-focused on Detroit and its prize rookie Cade Cunningham, who went No. 1 overall last summer.

Both players have rungs on this week’s Kia Rookie Ladder. But Dosunmu, increasingly valuable off Chicago’s bench, won the battle this time. He only scored 10 points but he brought energy and defense in the Bulls’ rout, helping to limit Cunningham to eight points. Dosunmu wound up a plus-23 in 27 minutes to Cunningham’s minus-30 in 29 and spoke about how his draft position motivates him.

“Of course,” he said. “Me being drafted in the second round, every night I have to play with a chip on my shoulder just to prove that’s where I thought I should have belonged. But that’s all in the past. I try to go out there and compete on the defensive end.”

With his local roots – high school at Chicago’s Westinghouse and Morgan Park, college at the University of Illinois – Dosunmu was a United Center crowd favorite from the start. But his offensive outburst (the Bulls are 8-0 when he scores 10 points or more) and his defensive tenacity won over teammates and fans regardless of his background.

Of the Class of 2021’s 23 second-rounders who have earned time, Dosunmu, New Orleans’ Herbert Jones and Oklahoma City’s Jeremiah Robinson-Earl rank as the cream of the Nos. 31-60 crop through the season’s first half. Several others have contributed when pressed into action in more limited sample sizes, including OKC’s Aaron Wiggins, Brooklyn’s Kessler Edwards and LA’s Brandon Boston Jr.

The true value of second-rounders usually takes several seasons to reveal itself. As of Wednesday, there were 11 players drafted in Round 2 averaging at least 15 points per game – the most recent arrivals are Gary Trent Jr. and Jalen Brunson, both picked in 2018. Jarred Vanderbilt, also a 2018 pick, is the second-best rebounder (9.1 rpg) among second-rounders while 2012 draftee Draymond Green is tops in assists (7.4).

Green, Nikola Jokic, Khris Middleton and Malcolm Brogdon (2017 Rookie of the Year) are gold-standard second-rounders after whom Dosunmu, Jones and the rest can compare their impacts. While sharing in the underdog status that served those guys so well.

‘Nothing else to add’ House GOP Leader Kevin McCarthy rebuffs Jan 6. committee

Top-ranking House Republican Kevin McCarthy turned down an invitation to speak with the select committee investigating the riot at the Capitol, calling it an “illegitimate” political operation.

The Republican minority leader issued the statement Wednesday night after the committee invited him to speak to the panel about a phone call he allegedly made to former President Donald Trump during the uprising, urging him to quell the violence. Days later, McCarthy said the former president “bears responsibility” for the riot.

The panel, led by House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, also intended to ask McCarthy about his interactions with then-White House Chief of Staff Mark Meadows.

McCarthy claimed the committee had lied about the content of documents it received and “held individuals in contempt of Congress for exercising their Constitutional right to avail

“And now it wants to interview me about public statements that have been shared with the world, and private conversations not remotely related to the violence that unfolded at the Capitol. I have nothing else to add,” McCarthy, 56, wrote.

The California Republican’s rebuke came after he expressed an openness to meeting with the committee last year, before accusing Pelosi and her caucus of not acting “in good faith” and “playing politics” by not admitting his choices for appointments to the panel.

“This committee is not conducting a legitimate investigation as Speaker Pelosi took the unprecedented action of rejecting the Republican members I named to serve on the committee. It is not serving any legislative purpose,” he wrote Wednesday.

The select committee chairman said last week that a formal invitation to ex-Vice President Mike Pence would be forthcoming, as members continue to investigate the violence that disrupted certification of the 2020 presidential election.

The Jan. 6 committee has requested or issued subpoenas to many key members of the former administration.

Steve Bannon was indicted by a federal grand jury in November for refusing to comply and the House voted to hold Meadows in contempt for ignoring a deposition in December.

Heather’s cool vacation comes not long after the release of her latest film: The Last Son, starring Colson Baker aka Machine Gun Kelly, Sam Worthington, and Thomas Jane. In the movie, she plays Anna, the mom of MGK’s sharp-shooting outlaw Cal.

Heather said she loved working with the rocker on the film, but also admitted she had little idea who he was before making the movie together. “It’s funny because I actually didn’t know who he was, to be honest,” she told ABC Audio in Dec. 2021. “I mean, my friend’s kids know who he is,” the never-married star added with a laugh.

Movie veteran Heather was quick to give MGK props for his acting, telling the program, “I think, you know, he’s very raw. Like, I like that he doesn’t because some actors are kind of ‘actor-y.’ And I like that he just has raw talent. I really enjoyed working with him. It was fun.” She added, “Sometimes actors try to control how they come across and they’re really practiced…It felt like he just put his heart out there. He hasn’t probably had as much experience. So he just kind of put it all out there. And I kind of liked that. Actually, it was fun, just sort of just felt like real.”

Meanwhile, the star is gearing up to work on the rom-com The Other Zoey with Andie MacDowell, Josephine Langford, and Patrick Fabian. The movie is about a bright college student whose views on love are turned upside down after a mistaken identity mishap.

Shawn Mendes & Camila Cabello ReuniteIn Florida Months After Split

Almost two months after their split, Shawn Mendes, 23, and Camila Cabello, 24, have reunited. In photos you can see here, the pair were spotted walking their adorable Golden Retriever, Tarzan, in Miami, Florida on Jan. 6, as they were all smiles under the sun. Camila seemed to be wearing a light-colored sundress while Shawn opted for a casual look of light blue jeans and a white t-shirt. It was unclear whether the two were reuniting as a full-blown couple again, or if they were just sufficiently co-parenting their pup, but it was nice to see them together again!

The former couple of two years announced the news of their breakup in a joint statement issued on their respective Instagram Stories on Nov. 17, assuring fans their “love for one another” was still “stronger than ever.”

“We’ve decided to end our romantic relationship but our love for one another as humans is stronger than ever,” the message read. “We started our relationship as best friends and will continue to be best friends. We so appreciate your support from the beginning and moving forward.”

Shawn and Camila originally confirmed their romance in the summer of 2019, thought they’ve been friends since 2015. The musicians first sparked speculation about their romance after their collaboration on the steamy 2019 track “Señorita.” They confirmed their partnership not too long after the release, causing many to question if their relationship was real or a PR stunt. Shawn then shut down that speculation, responding to paparazzi at LAX by saying their coming together was “definitely not a publicity stunt.”

Shawn also told told radio.com of the relationship in 2020: “I thought that I was a pretty open, emotional, guy until I started being in a relationship with someone that I really, truly love and, realizing that ‘oh no, I really have this big ego, and I don’t want to show her that I’m hurting and I don’t want to show her that that offended me, and like I want to be the man, and I want to be strong in this relationship.’”
